Hardest mile in West Virginia, but the view is worth the 7 lbs lost in water weight making the trek to the top. Seneca Rocks is such a unique landmark, just this giant spine of rock in a sea of green. I haven’t been in years and while the rocks themselves haven’t changed, I was impressed to see major infrastructure improvements in the public access area. Two foot bridges and what looked like a nice trail system for accessing the water for trout. I’ll be coming back to fish this area in the Fall, but today was about getting to the top of this giant rock.
